Expect the unusual with my characteristic ceramics. Each piece is distinctive.
Where many artists use paper for drawing and painting, I use clay, which has a
unique patina and texture. I love how it shines when it is finished.
I create each earthenware tile to bring out an individual flair. No two are alike.
Each is personally kneaded, rolled out and cut to size. I paint and glaze every
piece for a singular look, sometimes whimsical, quirky, or intuitive.
The final product is fired several times, and I fix a wire to the back for hanging,
framing or standing on an easel. Each piece, with its own personality, has a mood
and a story to tell.
I bring to my craft all of my previous experiences. I have worked as an art teacher,
interior designer, Feng Shui practitioner, Chinese Brush painter, and as an artist
who exhibits in New Jersey and New York.
